Airsoft is a game of honour

  • If you are hit, call out loudly: "HIT"
  • Raise one arm up into the air and pull out your kill rag
  • A red kill rag is mandatory
  • You are allowed to crouch/move out of the way 
  • If you are hit: DO NOT TALK (exception is allowed for medic rules)

"NO DUFF" is called during emergencies 

  • You must make your weapon safe (follow the procedure under "Safe Zone")
  • Any player can call "NO DUFF" 

Minimum age is 12+

  • All players under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver for them. Waivers can be found here.

Mercy Rule 

  • The opposing player MUST call "mercy" within 10ft (3m) / direct line of sight 
  • The receiving player may take the mercy or attempt to retaliate

Eye & Face Protection 

  • Eye protection must be CSA Z94.3 or of similar ballistic impact criteria and cover the whole eye with no gaps
  • Mesh, splash or safety goggles do not qualify
  • Eye protection must be worn outside of the safe-zone
  • If you experience fogging issues on the field:
    • You may not remove your glasses/goggles at any time
    • Game staff may isolate you to de-fog your eye protection

Safe Zone

  • When entering the safe-zone, one must make their gun safe 
    • Follow this procedure for AEG/HPA/Spring Gun Users: 
      • Eject the magazine 
      • Shoot 3 times in a safe direction 
      • Put the selector switch on the gun to "safe" 
    • Follow this procedure for GBB gun users: 
      • Eject the magazine 
      • Check the chamber for BBs 
      • Clear the chamber of any BBs if necessary 
      • Put the selector switch on the gun to "safe" or keep the slide 'racked back' 
  • No magazines are allowed to be in any gun in the safe-zone 
  • No firing of weapons in the safe-zone

Velocity, Energy & RPS Requirements 

  • All airsoft guns will be chronographed using a provided .30 gram BB
  • All HPA users require a tournament lock or method to prevent the changing of pressure

  • RPS (rounds per second) limit: 28 BBs
  • If your airsoft gun exceeds the ROF, FPS and/or energy limit: 
    • Game staff will ask you to lower/modify your gun 
    • Failure to comply will result in your gun being banned/removed until it meets the requirement

Use of Full Auto 

  • Not allowed within 10ft (3m) 
  • Not allowed inside of buildings 
  • Some games may implement further restrictions 

Only use Biodegradable BBs 

  • Maximum BB weight: .45 grams 

Grenades 

  • Sound Grenades 
    • If they detonate in a room/doorway you are in: you are hit
    • If they are thrown outside, they have no effect 
  • Frag Grenades 
    • If they detonate in a room/doorway you are in: you are hit 
    • Open areas: a 5ft (1.5m) radius or hit by BBs, includes BB ricochets
  • Grenade Launcher Spray Shells 
    • Within structures: if a BB/ricochet hit you: you are hit 
    • Open areas: if a BB/ricochet hit you: you are hit 
  • Launcher Projectiles
    • 10ft (3m) kill radius on projectiles first impact: if you are within the radius, you are hit 
    • Radius counts through hard/softcover 
    • Projectiles must be a soft material construction (foam/rubber) 
    • TAG rounds may only be shot at hard targets (buildings); not at players
    • Don't aim directly at players for all projectile launchers 

    Medic Rule 

    • Some games feature a medic rule 
    • Use of tourniquets may be mandatory 
      • If you do not have one, you cannot be revived
      • We offer them for sale 

    Players may simulate a 'drag' on a downed player 

    • The player dragging must place 2 hands on the downed player
    • Walk them to their new location (you may not run) 
    • If a hand leaves the dragged player, the dragged player must stop where they are

    Non-Negotiables 

    • NO Verbal Harassment, Abuse, and/or Threats of Physical Violence
    • NO Physical Contact
    • NO Blind Fire
    • NO Real Knives allowed on the field. Only Rubber Training Knives are allowed 
    • NO use of Red or Black gas for GBB 
    • NO Individuals are to be used as a “Meat Shield”
    • NO Retailing of airsoft related items on the field without written consent of Niagara Quartermaster 
    • DO NOT fire through openings smaller than your fist
    • DO NOT throw objects at other players
    • DO NOT climb objects or the scenery
    • DO NOT wear red, yellow, or orange clothing

    If you are in violation of NQ Field Rules:

    • One may receive a 'game suspension'
    • One may receive a 'temporary ban' from the field
    • One may receive a 'season ban' from the field
